the feeling that I'm feeling is overjoyed

[5 pieces]
jason mraz music
prettiest friend
baking with zucchini
zero taste and so much fun!
it's amazing what a little work can do to a place
rethinking married-sister thing
"oh wait. she won't be here to brush our teeth together wearing heels anymore? okay never mind about the mrs. thing. i'll take her back."
what in the world?! better delete this blog before I start thinking I'm important

the more I think about it, the less cool I think my music is.
it's sort of fun to listen to music by a band no one's heard of
makes me think I'm special because it isn't on the radio or something.
but then sometimes it just isn't catchy
you know?
music has to be something you want to listen to

and then sometimes these random bands totally surprise you
and they sound so good and have great lyrics and a weird group name, and it's all so good

[lame. why in the world did I just say that about myself?]

this is what I can't stop eating.
garden muffins!
I'm not going to post an actual recipe unless someone asks, because it's totally more of a throw-together-what-you-have-and-it-probably-works thing.
but they are orange-cinnamon flavored (using orange zest and  cinnamon), with carrot and zucchini in them.
and I used oatmeal and oat flour so does that make them gluten-free?
I just like the taste of oat flour so much better than wheat, no allergies.

so tell me,
if you were stranded on a desert island with four songs on your ipod (i know, i know)
what songs would you bring?

I love your honesty and your candid-ness! So great, don't ever lose it. Those muffins look so yum and just like the rolls we used to get in at the coffee shop I used to work in.

4 songs only? Brutal!

1)Heart of Gold by Neil Young
2)The Funeral by Band of Horses
3)Three Little Birds by Jack Johnson
4)Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-a-lot(for dance parties)

I would bring a lot of artists I had never heard of so I could spend the time getting to know them better and then falling in love with them. I figure I might have a lot of time on my hands.

if i were stranded i would listen to nsync, "sailing" to be more specific on repeat. love 90s music much too much.
i've tried to find the underground "cool" music, unfortunately i'm not cool enough to find it, so i stick with oldies & the radio. it works ;)
& garden muffins. omg.

awe Jason Mraz. Fabulous!

I'd bing Katy Perry, Stevie Nicks, a little R and B, some rock, and some Metric, a little bit of Damien Rice. Wow how random am I?! Jesh!

Hope you are having a great week lady! XO

Aw you are a sweetie!
I love your blog roll - I see some of my faves too so I'll have to check the others out seeing as we have similar taste!
I've recently become very wheat intolerant so I would LOVE you recipe :) Do post it! Pwease :D

If I could only choose four songs to take with me... oh gosh, this is hard. Since I'm stranded on a desert island I would probably want songs that lift my spirits so let's go with:

'Perfect Now' Sarah Blasko
'Paper Aeroplane' Angus & Julia Stone
'Don't Panic' Coldplay
'Come On Over' by Christina Aguilera. I listened to her Greatest Hits while cleaning lately and this is such a booty-shaking song :D
