the cats pajamas

sometimes God just hands me these days that are the bees knees
I love 'em.

today was all baking at the coffee shop and laughing with co-workers; getting to know the farmers at this week's market; stuffing myself with $.75 worth of chocolate-covered espresso beans and going for a sunset run at my lake, post-work.

farmer joe sings to his customers.

I wasn't planning to buy any blackberries today, but when a friendly farmer sings, what can you do?

there's little I enjoy more than cooking and listening to folk music. somehow it's the nicest combination.
tonight was kale tacos and ginger limeade, and this album.

p.s.

I bought some beets and don't know yet what will come of them, so be on the lookout for new beety recipes

and...if you have any killer ones, SHARE please?
